 About Jaylee

Jaylee Rosand (Jay Soo Lee) is a product and apparel designer based in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. She enjoys translating hand-drawn sketches into elaborate & world-building designs. Grounded in a deep understanding of trend forecasting and inspired by historical eras and Asian design traditions, she bridges emerging aesthetics with timeless construction. Her work is further enriched by over a decade of independent study in apparel and historical construction methods, leaving her with an expert eye for womenswear tailoring techniques & couture construction methods.

Juli et Lee is Jaylee's creative vision side project—a space to refine her craft and develop a design language bridging traditional Asian influences and historical fashion with modern wearability. With a focus on intentional detail and cross-cultural dialogue, the designs reinterpret cultural motifs through a contemporary lens, reflecting Jaylee’s experiences as an Asian American designer. Since its debut, Juli et Lee has captivated audiences with its world-building designs, where individual pieces tell a story-often drawing from personal narratives and cultural motifs. Rosand’s work has graced runways across the Twin Cities fashion scene, earned features in independent publications, and showcased at XIA Gallery in Saint Paul, MN.

Outside of the work world, she can be found with a cup of coffee, usually sewing or crocheting. Besides artistic endeavors, she enjoys cooking new recipes in the kitchen with her fiancé, listening to oldies music and enjoying quiet time in nature.
