RESORT 24
In the winter of 2023, I was asked to participate in a fundraiser hosted at the University of Minnesota to raise awareness for food insecurity, called the Iridescence Fashion Show. The student government had a huge role in the show, from organizing the venue to reaching out to individual designers such as myself.
For the show, I was instructed to design over 10 looks revolving around one theme- which was up to the designer. I was excited to design for something that was so open ended, and for a show that I had considerable responsibility for. My tasks included communicating with the larger student government producers, reaching out/hosting model fittings and events, and hiring stylists as assistants.
For Resort 24, I wanted to create a collection that revolved around my version of idealized femininity- largely inspired by design aesthetics of the past. Playful, feminine colors, elegant shapes, and freeform lace are recurring motifs that seamlessly blend to create an imaginative, vintage collection that is reminiscent of classical vacation wear.

For Iridescence Fashion, I was tasked with creating promotional content for social media platforms, such as collection advertisements for my work.
