Spring 2024 marked my second year participating in Minnesota Fashion Week as a designer. I was selected to participate in their emerging designers show, titled La Rotonde. The theme prompted designers to consider 1920s Paris, and the intersection of different artistic mediums to present their work.

Due to the shorter notice and nature of this project, I showcased several looks from my Resort 2024 collection featured in a university hosted show, as well as one from a school project. Through different accessories and styling ideas, everything came together in a cohesive, antique collection that featured lots of lace, crochet and neutral colors. 

In order to assist in promoting the show, I photographed and designed several promotional advertisements for social media accounts. 

Additionally, I participated in an official Fashion Week Minnesota photoshoot, that used one of my designs for marketing the show.  I was responsible for directing makeup, hair, and posing. 

The show opened with a dancer, wearing the first look of my collection. This provided some additional design criteria for me when constructing the garments because I had to accommodate high kicks, flexibility, and maintain modesty.
