F/W 23: ORIENTE DE MODERNE
This collection focused on my identity as an Asian American. I wanted to design garments that were modern and eye-catching, all while being timeless.
I started by designing a print, inspired by Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters. The print itself is total nonsense, and makes viewers wonder what it could be saying- ultimately giving them a comparable experience to illiteracy.
This mini collection was also highlighted as part of my greater presentation for my runway debut at FWMN 2023.
