Interview Activity:

Co-Design

Interviewees were prompted to design their ideal weekend getaway for a short glamping trip.  They were asked to describe their meal preparations, activities they would like to do, and include an overview of a personal packing list.

Co-Design Results

Interviewee's notes after activity.

Concept Development

Mood Board

For ideation, I focused on concepts that felt whimsical & luxurious in nature. I settled on a hybrid camping chair/cooler concept, and explored Art Nouveau style solutions to overall form, with a focus on the side & front profiles.

Features

Foldable

For ease of use and storing, the chair folds and can be compacted down.

Wearable

For hike-in camping situations, the chair can be worn in a hands-free mode.

Detachable Cooler

The cooler suspends slightly off the ground, and can easily detach when needed from the bottom.
