Graffiti Kettle Model
Materials: HDU foam, spray paint
This kettle was inspired by architectural forms & street art. The plaster on the form itself was intentionally textured to give a rough, concrete aesthetic. The final form was meant to be reminiscent of a building itself, using stocky shapes to mimic city architecture. Graffiti adorns the bottom of the kettle, adding scale to the miniature city in which this kettle hypothetically lives. Windows, doors and ladders decorate the upper half of the building, offering an opportunity for these city-dwelling mini graffiti artists to access some of the higher, harder to reach places.
